The BizOps team plays a pivotal role in this mission and solves some of Credit Karma's most important business problems. BizOps leads are embedded within our verticals and collaborate with a cross-functional team to lead strategic initiatives that have a direct impact on our business. We drive operational discipline and clarity on performance to make verticals & Credit Karma successful at achieving our objectives. We're looking for a BizOps Senior Manager to partner with our Home vertical and serve as the BizOps lead on their leadership "Core" team.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the General Manager of the Home vertical to manage operational processes, help make data-driven decisions and identify opportunities for growth
- Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional Home Core team to enable it to function effectively:
- Lead strategic projects and operationalize them to move the business forward
- Track and measure performance of key cross-functional initiatives: establish and monitor KPIs and develop operational dashboards
- Keep a pulse on key cross-functional initiatives and understand how they translate into lift and revenue impact
- Own the forum for discussion of the highest priority topics and for decision-making
- Collaborate with the team and leverage data to inform, develop, and iterate on business strategy
- Lead strategic planning and develop plans to achieve goals, as well as on resource prioritization and allocation
- Own and lead business cases for new areas of investment and growth
- Manage key communication and materials for the Executive Committee and company leadership
- Lead market and competitive intelligence, to understand broader market trends and how it impacts Credit Karma
- Identify opportunities to leverage the platform, strategic partnerships and acquisitions to grow the business

- The role is highly cross-functional, which means you get to work with Product, Business Development, Marketing, Data Science, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Development, and Engineering
- What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of total work experience, 2+ years of which in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, corporate strategy or finance
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and the Google Doc suite.
- What We Would Also Like To See
- A detailed understanding and/or prior experience in the home/mortgage industry
- Strong analytical chops and ability to problem-solve and understand key drivers of the business
- An ability to drive complex projects and develop processes
- Communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate, present and debate recommendations with all levels of management
- Proactive and passionate self-starting general athlete with bias towards action and constant prioritization
- Prior experience in consumer financial services, payments and/or financial technology

- Pay Transparency Notice: Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $189,398 to $200,000, plus equity and benefits.
