Position Overview:

The Chief of Staff at Nature’s Fynd will work directly with our Co-Founders and Leadership Team as their trusted right-hand. The individual in this high-visibility and high-impact position will boost our strategic thinking and execution by spearheading and managing the processes behind the core initiatives of the organization. The Chief of Staff will wear several hats, ranging from acting as a strategic advisor to the Leadership Team, to spearheading cross-functional initiatives that encompass all divisions of the organization, including R&D, Engineering, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, and Intellectual Property. The ideal candidate will be an individual that has strong leadership qualities, experience rapidly understanding, simplifying, and communicating complex technological concepts and processes, and exceptional people and project management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead goal-setting and tracking across the Nature’s Fynd Leadership Team and organization by facilitating alignment on strategic roadmap and major priorities, as well as by providing targeted strategic support to teams
  • Manage KPI tracking and Board reporting process across the organization on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Conceptualize, steer, and facilitate major organizational meetings, off-sites, and other key touch-points
  • Support investor relations
  • Spearhead special strategic projects and cross-functional task-forces across the organization’s operations
  • Build relationships across the organization to ensure firm-wide input into daily operations and long-term strategy
  • Lead a range of knowledge management and capacity building initiatives to boost organizational effectiveness and excellence
  • Lead global business development initiatives on behalf of the organization with prospective investors, clients, service providers, and partners

Candidate Profile / Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in consulting and/ or strategy and operational experience gained in a hyper-growth company, scaling a business, driving change across a large organization, or entrepreneurship
  • Experience driving complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders while managing risk
  • Ability to effectively build trust with a wide range of stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with a wide range of teams and varying levels of seniority within an organization
  • Experience working with complex new technologies & a wide range of domains of knowledge (pattern recognition in totally new problems)
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work independently with a high degree of comfort
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Gravitas/ poise and command to be able to represent executive team in front of internal and external parties
