2023 will be a critical year for WorkMoney. We’ll be entering our third year of operation and dreaming bigger than ever. We’ve experienced exponential team growth and with this very talented team, have been executing complex cross-functional programs. In plain speak, we’re kicking ass, working across silos, dreaming big, and we’re just getting started.
Our Founder and CEO is poised to take on new challenges and opportunities this coming year building on the successes of our programming in the past two. She can only do so with a strong executive team (E-team) and an experienced Chief of Staff (CoS) by her side. The right CoS candidate will be a force multiplier, able to ensure our CEO shows up well in every room she’s in. Most importantly, the CoS will help preserve and channel the CEO’s time by staying deeply in tune with organizational priorities and working with the E-team to proactively surface areas that need the CEO’s urgent attention.
WorkMoney’s CoS will bring astute judgment and strategic thinking to support the CEO in making quicktime decisions about pivots and setbacks. They’ll have prior experience in a similar role and be equipped to wrangle a team of seasoned executives who report to the CEO. Our E-team is composed of new and veteran WorkMoney team members hailing from multiple sectors and you’ll need to move fluidly between them seizing opportunities to streamline communication, preparation, and problem solving. Here are some of the qualities we think will make the CoS successful. If you feel you have most of these, please apply!
We’re proud to offer generous benefits like competitive pay, expansive paid time off options, and employer contributions to retirement and student loan repayment. Our workplace is dynamic and we aren’t afraid to pivot when things don’t work. We’re mission driven, hard working, and scrappy AF. We have a good time working on hard things, and embrace the line ‘feedback is a gift’. We jump in to help each other, and make time to reflect when things go well and not so well. The truth of the matter is: we’re doing cool stuff with really cool people and having a great time doing it.
