Tasks
The Chief of Staff role is a unique opportunity. You will work directly with our CEO Sascha and support our management team in their efforts to execute against our ambitious plans. That means you will be involved in the most important strategic projects of the company. Your main task will be that you make sure that strategic initiatives will be transformed into projects and these will be executed excellently. Through your strong organizational skills, your communicative talent and your confident and friendly appearance you make sure that goals will be achieved and a high-performing organization is created.
- Functioning as the right-hand to and sparring partner for the company's C-level (mainly the CEO) regarding both strategic and operational topics from ideation to project management and implementation (e.g. go-to-market strategy, expansion of our product portfolio, building up of various partner networks, geographic expansion across Europe)
- Setting and managing the CEO’s strategic priorities including identifying priorities, metrics for success and acting as a delegate for the CEO by preparing and attending meetings
- Overseeing large, cross-functional projects and initiatives with multiple stakeholders focusing on both internal and external topics
- Improving existing or developing new processes to keep the company's growing team as efficient as possible and identifying operational and structural weaknesses
- Building, maintaining, and regularly communicating a goal setting and evaluation framework in order to execute our strategy effectively and celebrate successes as a team
- Driving initiatives such as cross-functional strategic processes, long-term vision/roadmap planning, working flawlessly in partnership with Commercial, Growth, Product, Ops, Marketing and other adjacent areas where applicable
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with a preferred background in top tier management consulting or as a Chief of Staff in a high-growth technology company
- You are familiar with/passionate about high-growth start-ups with a knowledge of Product, Marketing, Sales and Operations and experienced in managing numerous high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders and conflicting deadlines
- Proven track record of interacting with senior executives either as a consultant or in an in-house setting
- High proficiency in tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite
- An ambitious multi-tasker and a problem solver with strong program and project management skills
- A self-starter, investigating and getting the data you require to make your work more effective
- An enabler who strives to help others flourish and grow beyond themselves
- A clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key take-aways, and disseminate meaningful insights
- A team spirit with an ability to work with remote teams across different time zones in order to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment
- Strong communication skills in German and English
