DRY FIRST is seeking a DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS to report directly to the company owner while leading our team. He or she should be a proven leader with quantifiable and verifiable results to manage our industry-leading 35-year company.
A minimum of 3 years of GM or Operations Management experience is required.
Sound judgment, maturity, integrity, and solid financial acumen are ABSOLUTE MUSTS in this top-level management role.
Experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
Experience in the construction industry is helpful as well.
The Director of Operations will be responsible for ‘running the company by the numbers,’ while consistently increasing sales and net profits.
The DO will have a thorough and demonstrated understanding of all facets of managing a company, including but not limited to HR, Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Production; and will have a working knowledge of how all elements of a company affect its profit. Ideally, he or she will have a keen understanding of Florida's insurance industry as well.
The DO will lead by example. He or she will present a professional demeanor and upstanding character that sets the standard for the rest of the company. The DO will consistently demonstrate strong leadership skills; excellent communication, both verbal and written; sound critical thinking aptitude; excellent time management; and the ability to deal with all types of people and circumstances.
Must possess a working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Xactimate.Experience with DASH is a plus.
Valid driver’s license required.
