Manager, Leadership Development

We are seeking an exceptional L&D Manager who will be responsible for the design, curation, event management, and continuous improvement of our leadership development strategies. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about developing inclusive leaders and enabling them to build and support high performing teams.

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Head) of L&D, you will be accountable for developing, curating and enabling programs and practices that support developing exceptional people leaders. In this role, you will work with, develop and maintain strong relationships with the larger Talent Experience team, Senior Leaders, HR Business Partners, Enterprise subject matter experts and external partners to weave content and outcomes into meaningful experiences.

What you will do:

  • Work with the Sr Manager, Head, L&D to serve as a strategic partner in how to apply learning and development solutions to business needs; partner closely with Business Leaders, Human Resources and wider Enterprise Learning & Development Team to develop and/or deploy innovative learning solutions
  • Assess needs and develop engaging, meaningful, and pragmatic short-and long-term L&D strategies for our Leaders of Tomorrow and Leader of Leaders segments
  • Design and implement learning programs that build employee capabilities, positioning associates to succeed in their current jobs and develop skills to enable their continued growth
  • Embed Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging across all programs
  • Collaborate with enterprise partners globally to identify practices that may be meaningful in the local context
  • Use analytics to measure the impact of investments in learning and development to the overall talent and business strategy.
  • Facilitate engaging learning experiences with associates at all levels, including executives
  • Evaluate, manage and deploy learning investments in third party tools and partnerships when appropriate, including budget, vendor, and partner management

What you will bring:

  • Strategic orientation with proven ability to set a vision, chart a path, and deliver with high impact
  • Data informed solutions to influence & obtain buy-in from multiple stakeholders
  • Track record of building a leadership development strategy, including needs evaluation
  • Best practices and external trends
  • Exceptional communication skills across stakeholders at multiple levels
  • A strong bias for continuous improvement
  • Entrepreneurial ability to identify and prioritize opportunities in ambiguous contexts
  • Experience with emerging and leading technologies, thought leadership, and learning approaches across disciplines

Basic Qualifications:

  • Post secondary diploma or degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in developing innovative and inclusive leadership development programs
  • Expert facilitator who can engage audiences at various levels
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Passion for enabling individuals and organizations to thrive

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing people directly and indirectly
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Project management mindset
