We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Strategy to join Team Snap! As a member of the Strategy and Corporate Development team, you will help drive cross-functional progress towards Snap’s highest priority initiatives. Our team oversees our overall corporate strategy, which includes prioritization of internal investments, exploration and support of new initiatives, competitive analysis and benchmarking, M&A, and strategic partnerships.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to create, build alignment around, and support internal strategy for key corporate goals
  • Drive strategic documents and processes to identify, define, and prioritize our long-term opportunities and relevant efforts and investments across product, engineering, operations, and go-to-market
  • Develop analysis around industry and competitive trends and have a view on how these trends affect our business and strategy
  • Maintain relationships with key industry participants, including partners, competitors, and potential targets for partnership, investment, and M&A

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven ability to excel independently in a fast-paced and unconstrained environment with minimal guidance
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop trust-based relationships and influence different stakeholder groups directly and indirectly
  • Intellectual curiosity and honesty with ability to develop and articulate an independent view backed by data
  • Understanding of corporate finance, valuation principles, and different technology business models and high level industry trends

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years of experience working in private equity, public markets investing, venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, and/or in-house strategy, with exposure to media and software (consumer internet preferred)
  • Ability to build operating and valuation models for many different types of media, software and consumer businesses
  • Experience with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides or Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working in an in-house product or strategy role at a large tech company

For NY based applicants:

  • The standard base salary range for this position is $230,000-$335,000
  • This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus
  • This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs

For CA based applicants:

  • The standard base salary range for this position is $220,000-$330,000
  • This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus
  • This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs

For WA based applicants:

  • The standard base salary range for this position is $220,000-$330,000
  • This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus
  • This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
