Radial, the leader in omnichannel commerce technologies and operations has an exciting opening for a Senior Manager Strategy & Optimization. Radial’s omnichannel solutions use cutting-edge technology and analytics to optimize the e-commerce end to end processes reducing costs for our customer while enhancing the consumer experience.

Role Summary:

The Senior Manager Strategy & Optimization reports directly to the Strategy & Optimizations Director and is a high energy Leader with the ability to direct a multi-functional workforce and partner with teams across the network with multiple clients, sites and change management. This includes managing and promoting multiple network priority initiatives. Radial services multiple clients that have various levels of inbound and outbound work depending on volume swings, requiring this position to have a strong understanding of labor management, systems, and site layout.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the Strategy & Optimization Group in the achievement of key network goals in overall process improvement and change management, including quality assurance management, inventory management, purchasing management, cost management, process layouts, process and employee training and development. Work with Network leadership to influence corporate strategy.
  • Work with functional leaders within the company to ensure compliance to company policy and procedures
  • Ensure facilities are in compliance with Federal/ State/ local ordinances, laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that safety is always a strong part of the culture and environment within the facilities.
  • Obtain annual, monthly, and daily goals for various productivity and quality levels for key initiatives.
  • Lead the Strategy & Optimization group to operate in a cost effective and competitive manner while driving continuous improvement.
  • Help to manage, train, and develop the team members with hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems or removing obstacles.

Qualifications

  • Must possess high motivation, enthusiasm, and dedication to deliver results within strict timeframes. 3 PL required
  • Ability to be flexible, as this position consists of working with Sites/initiatives across the network based on priorities.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, plan, and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and coach associates, supervisors and managers on appropriate productivity processes and procedures.
  • Ability to incorporate safety and ergonomic thought, while designing process and workflow.
  • Ability to define problems through gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions to adjust the facility that operates in a constant flux.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form to meet the expectations of servicing our various clients in as cost-effective manner as possible. High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maximize use of time, outstanding organizational skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Radial, the clients and prospective clients, proprietary information, and intellectual property.
  • Experience with Excel, Word and basic computer skills required to perform day to day duties.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; five to ten years of managerial experience spanning inbound/outbound, inventory, quality management, warehousing, and distribution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, technical/business orientation and analytical skills should be a part of past experience.
  • Ability to operate calmly under stress while driving continuous improvement.

Travel:

  • This position is remote.
  • Travel is required 50%.
