Strategy Manager

Aon is looking to fill a Strategic Engagement Manager role!

Role Responsibilities

Support the overall client relationship building credibility and trust

Engage with clients to identify their strategic needs and priorities and develop potential solutions.

Be responsible for critical initiatives and leading others to support the initiative objectives

Lead problem solving sessions with internal/external clients to develop processes, methodologies, and transition strategies that will guide them to the objective future state

Lead the identification and communication of recommendations to clients

Coordinate the implementation and execution of strategic recommendations

Retain and build existing client relationships as well as actively seek new relationships and business opportunities

Work towards selling client engagements through ongoing relationship and delivery of strategic initiatives

Work in a collaborative environment with clients and colleagues

Challenge the status quo and internal processes to identify opportunities to work more efficiently

Lead by strong example, mentor, and coach

To Be Qualified for This Role:

• 7+ years of work experience in insurance, corporate strategy, or management consulting industries (commercial lines insurance experience is preferred)
• Experience leading projects and developing teams of other professionals to deliver quality work to senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical abilities and a track record of business success
• Ability to perform well under pressure, on multiple work streams, and with firm goals
• Strong attention to detail and a critical eye in coordinating work of more junior team members
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to travel (typically less than 20%)
