Overview
First Citizens Bank Equipment Finance provides leasing and equipment financing solutions to small businesses and middle market companies in a wide range of industries on both a private label and direct basis. We provide financing solutions for our borrowers and lessees, and assist manufacturers and distributors in growing sales, profitability, and customer loyalty by providing customized, value-added finance solutions to their commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mine, analyze, and draw conclusions on large volumes of industry and internal data to create meaningful analysis in support of decision making.
- Use descriptive and diagnostic analytics to develop empirical and actionable recommendations.
- Produce qualitative and quantitative research and reports on key events, markets, industries, and/or firms.
- Generate insights from third-party data sources that can be used to refine the development and deployment of business strategies.
- Conduct financial services and equipment leasing and financing industry analysis.
- Synthesize array of news and information into reports on a recurring and ad-hoc basis and meet regularly with key constituents to present intelligence and gather insights.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 5 years’ experience.
Additional Required Skills
- Data and Business Analytical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, high degree of competency in Excel
- Proficiency in SQL coding
- Software computer skills
- Interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics preferred.
- Experience in Commercial Banking, Finance, Analytics, Strategy/M&A, Equipment Finance, Bank, Strategic Consultant, Private Equity, or similar institution preferred.
- Preferred Experience with Sales Force reporting, R, and Power BI
