How You Can Contribute

Job Description

We seek a super-driven and eager colleague to take our efforts to the next level. You will be a strategic partner to the CFO and senior leadership team, responsible for driving corporate initiatives, managing key projects, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the organisation.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with advisors, legal, finance, and other relevant teams to execute the M&A transactions smoothly;
  • Key stakeholder presentations and supporting analysis;
  • Provide support for business decisions brought forward by leadership;
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's position and maximize shareholder value;
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities with other companies, including joint ventures, strategic alliances, and licensing agreements;
  • Analyse financial performance and forecast future financial outcomes. Identify financial risks (market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk), and develop strategies to mitigate them;
  • Identify potential acquisition targets or merger opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals. Overview of market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics to identify growth opportunities and potential threats;
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market research and analysis.

We Are Likely To Be a Match If You

  • You are a self-starter who is proactive, hands-on, curious, and motivated. You want to go the extra mile. You get the job done!
  • Experienced in stakeholder management and key partners of senior management by sparring based on analyses and research to assist in decision-making;
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in leadership roles dealing with due diligence or M&A processes in a fast-paced environment;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Expertise in Looker BI is an advantage;
  • Strong leadership & analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Master's degree in Econometrics, Business Economics, Business Analysis, or an equivalent relevant study;
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is a plus;
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-changing environment, you want to contribute to the growth of an ambitious scale-up.
