Chief of Staff

Getting close insights into the fleet business and working closely with the CEO and the Members of the Athlon Executive Committee (ExCom). It is within reach with this full-time job as Chief of Staff in Almere/Schiphol(Hybrid). We are the ExCom Office within Athlon. Getting you there.

Your road to success

Left or right, you will support our CEO and the ExCom Members to steer the organization. You will work in a fast-paced international environment and focus on several topics simultaneously. You can do this as a Chief of Staff with full focus on:

  • creating presentations for board, employee, leadership and shareholder meetings.
  • managing meetings by setting up the agenda, collecting input, taking minutes.
  • following up on action points.
  • managing special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
  • serving as a liaison between the CEO and other executives, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • supporting the ExCom Members in driving People & Culture topics.
  • planning and controlling the budget of the ExCom Office.
  • supporting in event planning.

Become the best version of yourself. Very normal at Athlon, because all our colleagues run on a healthy dose of ambition. What do you take with you as Chief of Staff or at least 40 of hours per week? Absolutely your planning and organizational skills, flexibly, creativity, trustworthiness and great communications skills. You have an eye for detail and see the people behind the tasks. You also have the drive to maneuver through all levels of a corporate organization. In addition, you have:

  • at least a Bachelor degree in business administration, communication sciences or a related field.
  • 5+ years of working experience.
  • fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives.
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • an open mind and embrace diversity.
  • professional skills in MS-Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

In addition to building an (international) career, as a Chief of Staff, based on 40 hours per week, you can count on a:

  • gross yearly salary up to € 80.000,- (including holiday allowance and 13th month).
  • employee budget of € 584,21 gross per month (this is used, for example, for a mobility scheme, extra salary, extra leave days or pension investment).
  • contribution-free pension.
  • potential bonus up to 10% of your annual salary including holiday allowance and 13th month (the bonus is 100% based on Mercedes-Benz company results).
  • thirteenth month.
  • holiday allowance of 8% and at least 26 vacation days.
  • 12-month contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
  • an extended working from home package.
  • laptop and mobile phone.
  • vitality plan.
  • a relaxed working environment in a newly furnished office that is fully adapted to hybrid working. Our office is a place to connect and meet with a nice company restaurant, table tennis and table football competitions and sports facilities.
