Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer, the Chief of Staff will play a critical role in delivering an effective Advisory Office of the CEO and key cross-functional operational initiatives. They will proactively identify and execute high-value projects. They will be expected to manage and drive our Run the Business (RTB) cadence leading various organizational, operational, and culture initiatives. They will be a life-long learner with an ability to adapt and apply past experiences to new situations. The Chief of Staff will also have a high tolerance for ambiguity, with an ability to operate in a world where there isn’t complete clarity and where the environment is fluid, both internally and externally.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive accountability to the agreements created against annual themes, quarterly objectives and operating objectives with the President's team in partnership with the Office of the CEO and the Board
  • Plan, manage and facilitate all ELT meetings, CEO Forums and Town Halls
  • Partner with the ELT to prepare and develop all Quarterly Business Reviews and Board of Directors Meetings
  • Lead all planning, coordination and materials delivery of the Annual Corporate Strategy
  • Coordinate large, often cross-functional efforts; bring together important stakeholders who will drive decisions
  • Research, perform benchmarking, analyze data, and make recommendations on a large variety of topics, often focused on engineering teams
  • Work with leaders to set strategic priorities, to help identify areas where leaders should direct their focus as well as metrics for success.
  • Prepare for and follow up on meetings, providing all the information necessary for the leader to be productive and engaged
  • Manage internal and external communications: helping coordinate and draft reports, pitch decks, speeches, and presentations on the CEOs behalf
  • Ensure materials prepared for external and internal customer / engagements
  • Maintain an excellent communication framework and partnership across the various organizational functions and executive leaders
  • Ensure adherence to cultural values and company rules

Experience You’ll Bring

  • MBA, Bachelor's or equivalent experience
  • Mature, confident and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a true business partner to C-level and other senior leaders of a multi-divisional organization
  • Strong leadership skills: ability to drive multiple high-profile projects forward
  • Strong analytical, critical reasoning and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to adjust strategies and realign priorities in an evolving environment
  • Past experience successfully partnering with other functions to achieve organizational goals and deliver operational initiatives; ability to advise leaders across the different functions
  • An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral and written skills and a willingness to share information
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality and bias to action
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive material is critical
