Chief of Staff
Location
Remote, with proximity to a hub location preferred for in-office attendance as needed (conversion to hire). Hub locations include San Francisco, Bristol, Los Angeles, New York City, Orlando, and Seattle.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Chief of Staff to join a leading entertainment company. In this role, you will act as a liaison with Product & Technical Directors, supporting annual strategic forecasting for Release Management. The position involves standardizing workflows, onboarding practices, and ensuring that web and mobile deliverables align with strategic objectives across major app platforms. You will facilitate agile methodologies, engineering-driven problem-solving sessions, and team-building events to promote a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product & Technical Directors for annual strategic forecasting of Release Management, standardizing workflows, and onboarding practices to ensure deliverables align with strategic objectives on major app platforms.
- Facilitate agile methodologies and introduce engineering-driven problem-solving sessions to encourage creativity and synthesis.
- Provide data-driven, procedural solutions to enhance the intelligence of services, deployments, and releases.
- Perform tactical and strategic/ad-hoc analysis across various business units.
- Foster team harmony and a sense of belonging through team-building events.
- Mentor team members across disciplines to uphold technical and delivery quality.
- Develop internal training sessions and maintain onboarding practices to enrich new hires' skill sets.
- Partner closely with Engineering teams to build innovative systems and improve deliverable efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of related IT experience.
- Proven experience in mobile release management with knowledge of mobile platforms (e.g., iOS, Android, App Store, Play Store).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance short- and long-term work streams.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the work of others.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly interpret and synthesize data from multiple sources to develop insights and recommendations.
- Creative thinker with a strong drive for innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Airtable.
- Familiarity with existing procedures and corporate culture in a leading entertainment company.
Education Requirements

Additional Information
This is a conversion-to-hire role, and while remote work is supported, proximity to one of the hub locations (San Francisco, Bristol, Los Angeles, New York City, Orlando, or Seattle) is necessary for occasional in-office requirements.
