As the Chief of Staff to the CEO at GitHub, you’ll partner with the CEO to operate GitHub’s business, consult on key decisions, lead strategic workstreams across the company, and be a key confidant across a variety of projects. You’ll be a critical partner to the Leadership Team organizing staff meetings, the overall rhythm of the business, and driving initiatives out of the office of the CEO. Your role is part thought-partner and part-executor, helping refine business strategy and driving the overall business to execute on that strategy efficiently and effectively.
This role requires a highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence. At times, you’ll be driving the company’s overall rhythm of the business through operational reviews, off-sites, and company wide events. At other times, you’ll be identifying opportunities for improvement through the overall business and working with the right leaders to make impact swiftly. Your goal is to ensure the CEO’s time is effectively used by acting as a proxy decision maker, a subject-matter expert, and a decisive decision maker.
Minimum salary of $122,500 to maximum $325,000
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
