Director of Business Operations responsible for driving OKR strategy and execution, along with the implementation of Viva Goals. Also work to improve transparency into financial planning, in close partnership with finance and business partners. At Amazon, I herded lions, became a cruise director and championed business operations at scale globally for the WW Solutions Architecture (SA) organization as their Chief of Staff. The two main initiatives I lead were OKR and Fiscal Year planning. The scope represented 25 federated leaders representing a SA population of + 9K globally. I am officially a Boomerang after taking a few years to explore the Puget Sound tech community hitting the local trifecta, Starbucks Technology, AWS and Microsoft. At Starbucks I launched the IT Asset Management program and Service Now for Starbucks N. America covering +10k stores. At Microsoft I held a variety of jobs that included selling 3rd party software to Microsoft, Procurement, Compliance and Audit. Guiding principles for my personal and professional life 1/ transparency and inclusion, 2/ balanced say/do ratio and 3/ bias for action. I am at my best when I bring order to chaos, drive change and challenge the status quo. Some fun nicknames I have been called throughout my career….Tech Cowboy, Swiss Army knife and the Hammer.
